Position: Director of Corporate Sponsorship Department: Marketing Reports To: VP of Marketing FLSA: Exempt Grade: S 15 SUMMARY The Director of Corporate Sponsorships will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive corporate sponsorship strategy to enhance the reputation and financial success of Keesler Federal.
This role involves cultivating strategic partnerships with external organizations, managing sponsorship agreements, and ensuring the alignment of sponsorships with our corporate mission and values.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for the overall management of partnership staff and/or interns, including but not limited to interviewing, selecting, and hiring.
Scheduling, assigning, training, and directing work; evaluating performance; coaching, counseling, rewarding, and disciplining employees; recommending employees for transfers, promotions, and terminations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Manage the overall partnerships of current and future strategic partners to include Biloxi Shuckers, Mississippi Seawolves, Mississippi Aquarium, and future NFL/NBA sponsorships.
Create and implement comprehensive sponsorship strategies aligned with the overall organizational goals and objectives.
Identify potential corporate sponsors within the Credit Union’s target Market.
Provide a quarterly report to Executive Management detailing the execution of all partnership deliverables: past, current, and planned, on a rolling 12-month basis.
Collaborate with marketing, community development, and events teams to plan and execute events and initiatives sponsored by external organizations.
Work with the marketing team to ensure sponsorships receive appropriate visibility and promotion through various marketing channels.
Manage corporate sponsorship budget effectively, tracking expenses and measuring the ROI of sponsorships.
Provide regular reports on sponsorship performance, including ROI analysis and recommendations for improvement.
Serves as Liaison for all partnership media assets and inventory.
Schedule corporate sponsorship on-site activations in coordination with Community Development Host members or SEG Group affiliations for VIP experiences.
Work closely with the Enterprise Risk Management team to ensure that all sponsorship activities are in compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
Develop and implement a corporate sponsorship strategy that aligns with the overall marketing and business objectives of the company.
Identify potential corporate sponsors and partners, conduct outreach, and build strong relationships with key decision-makers.
Negotiate sponsorship agreements, ensuring they are mutually beneficial and compliant with company policies.

Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
Experience and Other Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate sponsorship, partnership management, marketing, or a related field.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills required to interact with all levels of employees, managers, members, vendors, and the general public.
Strong time management, organizational skills, and ability to juggle and prioritize multiple concurrent projects.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with corporate partners.
Excellent project management skills.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
After-hours and weekend schedules will apply.
Knowledge of financial services and the financial industry is a plus.
Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact.
Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is usually of a personal or sensitive nature.
Work may involve motivating, influencing or training others.
Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.
Competencies: Must be proficient in use of office computer programs, including proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
Must be able create useable deliverables in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint formats.
