Job Summary:
The Ticket Operations Manager will oversee and execute all aspects of ticket operations for the Biloxi Shuckers as well as other events at MGM Park.
Responsibilities include building of game events, pricing, ticket inventory, collection of ticket revenue, processing and fulfillment, and ensuring the ticketing system is functioning properly and efficiently.
They will also manage ticket operations personnel and day-to-day operations of the department.
They will assist in all aspects of ticket sales including individual, season ticket packages and group tickets.
They will work with the financial department to maintain all financial records including daily, weekly and monthly ticket sales reports.
Additionally, they will work with the marketing department to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns on ticket sales.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee all ticket office functions, including but not limited to, sales, staffing, cash handling, and balancing
Proficiency at Ticketmaster Archtics ticketing software and all of its components
Prepare time sensitive, routine reports including daily, weekly and monthly sales reports
Interact and provide the best possible customer service while answering questions and finding resolutions on ticketing issues
Service current members and groups with a focus on retention
Assist with creation and distribution of membership packages
Staff, manage, schedule, train, and lead game day ticket sellers and takers
Sell memberships, flex plans, and groups for the Biloxi Shuckers
Assist marketing with understanding the effectiveness of marketing campaigns on ticket sales
Ticket operations of special events
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
At least 2-3 years of experience in ticket operations or box office management
Knowledge of Ticketmaster Archtics ticketing software a plus
Excellent customer service and professionalism
Proven leadership skills
High level of integrity
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Strong teamwork skills as well as the ability to work independently and self-motivate
Detail-oriented and organized
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize goals
Ability to work in fast paced environment
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
Physical requirement (lifting 50 pounds many times per day, standing, squatting, and bending for long periods)
