_ Digital Consultants is seeking a qualified Expeditionary Communications Instructor/Curriculum Developer for the 39th IOS to Develop and modify instructional materials (plans of instruction, lesson plans, student, and instructor handbook instructions, test questions, and visual aids) for both in-residence courseware and/or non-resident on-line ADL courseware.
Augment and support the Government with the development and maintenance of the Expeditionary Communications curriculum.
Augment and support other instructors with Expeditionary Communications course execution and/or during course exercises.
Serve as exercise controller during Expeditionary Communications course exercises (if required).
*_Duties to include:_* * Instructs Initial Qualification Training to Airmen in training.
* Plans, develops and implements technical product or system training programs for customers, and/or employees, and field support personnel.
Technical training may include standard, repeatable modules, customized, and new product modules.
* Obtains information from customer and technical organizations, engineering, software, and product requirements to prepare training programs; prepares lesson plans and training materials; designs product demonstrations; develops course content; determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids.
* Conducts training sessions, and demonstrations, and develops criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.
* May administer tests and may include military trainers.
* Confers with management, employees, and clients to gain knowledge of work situations requiring technical training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives, and technologies.
* Formulates teaching outline and determines instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops.
* Trainers are expected to have technical expertise in building networks using mobile systems i.
e.
RF links, encryption modules, exchange, proxy, and firewall.
* Continuously revises lesson plans to ensure course material reflects product features, meets new training requirements, and keeps technical information up to date.
* Facilitates the execution of all training programs.
* Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
Requirements: * Clearance: Secret * Education: Associate degree or equivalent experience of 5 - 8 years of expeditionary/tactical communications systems with deployment and operation of tactical communication systems (NIPR, SIPR, MNIS, JWICS, etc) or equivalent experience.
* Certifications: Cyber certification commensurate with DoDl 8570.
1m - lAT Level II * Significant experience in software and hardware-related communications including servers, firewalls, routing, switching, and infrastructure-related communications including encryption devices and various physical, MAC, network, and transport layer devices, preferably a mix of operational experience and developing course materials.

* Extensive experience with PacStar IQ-Core Software and PacStar Modular Series 400 Communications Solutions.
* Extensive experience with Cisco routing and switching devices.
* Extensive experience with HAIPE bulk encryption techniques (i.
e.
- KG-175D, KG-250X, AES, etc.
).
* Solid understanding of various protocols including DNS, DHCP, SNMP, SMTP, UTP, TCP/IP * Strong background in TCP/IP internet working, routing, switching, VLAN configuration and troubleshooting IP networks.
* Working knowledge of call managers, Local Session Controllers (LSC) – specifically the REDCOM SLICE, and associated protocols such as SIP and VOIP CODECs.
* Ability to perform complex network troubleshooting and resolve programming errors and equipment malfunctions.
* Experience with VMWare ESXi server architecture.
* Experience with Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2016, Windows 10, and Windows 11.
* Experience with Aruba Firewall, HBSS, ESS.
* Experience with Proxy Servers.
* Working with Radio Over IP (ROIP) systems and solutions.
* Possess a working knowledge of standard Tactical Data Links (TDL) such as Link-16, TADL-J, and JADC2.
* Possess a working knowledge of Electromagnetic Warfare Considerations when deploying expeditionary communication systems.
* How to interpret and set up equipment in accordance with a Satellite Access Authorization (SAA) and Gateway Access Authorization (GAA).
* Working Knowledge of military SATCOM terminals to include FDMA and TDMA modulation techniques and X-Band, C-Band, Ku-Band, and Ka-Band.
* Strong organizational skills and a confident, detail-oriented, customer-oriented, positive mindset.
*Preferred Skills and Experience*: * Instructor Methodology Course (IMC) or Basic Instructor Course (BIC) certificate Instructional Systems Design (ISD) or Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate (ADDIE), Technical Writer certificate.
