Think that's cool? Keep reading: Job Description Represents the department of Integrated Communications & Stakeholder Engagement (IC&SE) on administrative matters.
Recommends, interprets, and/or implements company and internal administrative policies and procedures.
Performs as a generalist for a combination of tasks in such functional areas as finance, command media, human resources, IT, logistics and planning, events and visits, onboarding, research and development, as well as assigned within the department.
Develops and maintains strong collaborative relationships with internal and external business partners.
Responsible for all aspects of onboarding new IC&SE department team members.
Manages department budget; including but not limited to advertising, ordering of inventory supplies, vendor communications and coordination, imPRESSions rebilling, renewal of subscriptions, travel support and any other areas necessary to support all departmental needs.
Assist with basic accounting tasks such as processing invoices and expense reports.
Support continual compliance Command Media standards and procedures.
Provides cross-functional support within; including but not limited to special events, communications and marketing, community engagement, government affairs and shipbuilder engagement.
Basic Qualifications Must have either a bachelor's degree and 3 years of relevant experience; OR a master's degree with 1 year of relevant experience; OR a high school diploma and 11 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Must be a current Ingalls Shipbuilding employee.
Preferred Qualifications Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Familiarity with basic accounting principles and software (QuickBooks).
