Job Specifications:
Required Education: Graduate from an accredited, state-approved, school of nursing.
Preferred Education: BS degree in Nursing.
Required Licensure: Current MS RN license or temporary permit for same (valid for 90 days only).
Preferred Licensure: N/A
Required Experience: Five years of clinical RN experience.
Preferred Experience: N/A
Required Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Abilities to instruct using adult learning methods.
Knowledge of hospital operations, Principles of Supervision, Management, and Communication.
Ability to communicate effectively; skill in decision-making.
Ability to problem solve for patients with complicated disorders.
Ability to interpret physicians' instruction.
Practices using standard nursing principles, practices and procedures.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: ACLS certification.
Computer skills and keyboarding.
Ability to use Microsoft Applications.
